07 — Questions
Do you take insurance?
We are in-network with Providence, Regence and Pacific Source. For other plans we provide a superbill you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Sliding-scale spots are available on every clinician's caseload.
How long does therapy take?
Most people come weekly at first. Some finish focused work in 8 to 12 sessions; others stay longer. We review progress together every six weeks.
Is telehealth as effective as in person?
For most concerns, yes. Research shows comparable outcomes for anxiety, depression and couples work. EMDR we offer in person only.
What happens on the intro call?
Fifteen minutes with the clinician we suggest for you. You describe what brings you in, ask what you want to know, and both of you decide if it feels like a fit.
Do you see teens without parents in the room?
Yes. Teens 13 and older have confidential sessions. We agree with the family up front on what is shared and how.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel or move a session at least 48 hours ahead at no charge. Late cancellations are billed at the full rate, except for illness or emergencies.
